Founded on April 1, 1932, as a one-man ship equipment business in the Port of Hamburg, Holger Clasen GmbH is now one of the leading international manufacturers of industrial tools. What began as a business trading and developing abrasives has now grown into a medium-sized family business with over 90 years of experience.
Our philosophy – “Making work easier for people” – was our guiding principle then and remains so today: through innovative, reliable, and high-quality solutions created by a dedicated and highly trained team in Hamburg.

The development team at headquarters works closely with customers to continuously develop tool solutions that are precisely tailored to the needs of demanding industries such as energy supply, automotive, metalworking, wind energy, and shipping.
Service with responsibility
In 2002, we established our Technical Service Center (TSC)—a competent team of specialists who provide reliable, fast, and expert maintenance and repair services for both our own tools and devices from other manufacturers.
