Applications

The wire end brush BP-30316 is the first choice for aggressive brushing applications in hard-to-reach places. You can use it to remove rust, dirt and paint from weld seams and fillet welds, remove rubber residues, remove rust and paint, roughen, mat and deburr. Due to their design, they can also work on internal areas and hollow bodies excellently. Wire end brushes are mounted on derusting tools such as straight grinders, drills or brushing tools and polish corroded, contaminated or painted surfaces.

Wire end brush BR-30316 - Cleaning to the point

The wire end brush BR-30316 has a diameter of 30 mm and can be mounted on straight grinders, rod grinders, drills or brushing tools with collet chuck holder. The collet chuck must be designed for the 6 mm diameter shank. Wire end brushes are ideal for machining hard-to-reach areas where accuracy is essential. The small design permits precise tool guidance - whether in small, low-lying areas or also in hollow bodies and inner tube surfaces. The bristles spread depending on the speed, so that the brush can be optimally adapted to the existing contour. In this case, our straight grinders in long version are ideal, as it enables a corresponding working depth. The wire end brush is equipped with knotted steel wire with 0.26 mm wire thickness. The plaited steel wire is ideal for heavy cleaning work. The optimum speed is in the range up to 20,000 min-1. We recommend in any case the use of appropriate protective clothing, such as safety glasses, work gloves and work clothing.
TIP:
The wire structure determines the aggressiveness of the insert - corrugated wire for light to medium cleaning operations, knotted wire for heavy cleaning operations.
The diameter of the wire and the equipment determines the amount of ablation - the thicker and denser the wire, the higher the ablation.
The material determines the intended use: steel wire for common applications - stainless steel wire for processing stainless steel surfaces.
The length of the fill determines the service life - the longer the fill, the longer you can use the brush.
