Applications
PressMax-C6-4D processes self-centering tubular cable lugs for non-insulated fine and finest stranded copper conductors according to DIN 60228, class 2, 5 and 6 in the range 16 - 300 mm2 via an integrated 4-arbor crimping system. These highly flexible conductors are used where it is necessary to flexibly adapt to external conditions, such as in switch cabinet construction or for aggregate connections.

Battery Crimping Tool PressMax-C6-4D for high flexible conductors, 4-arbor
With 60 kN, the battery-powered hydraulic crimping tool is very powerful and compact, crimps uninsulated, fine and very fine stranded copper conductors. It does not require any additional crimping dies. The integrated, self-centering 4-arbor crimping unit works reliably and works non-DIN Cu tubular cable lugs up to 300mm2. Thanks to the improved, balanced and ergonomic housing, it can also be handled comfortably with one hand. The closed head ensures safe working. The compact design and the open head, which can be rotated by 180°, enable the tool to be positioned securely on the workpiece. The head is narrow for this performance class and can therefore also be used in hard-to-reach places. The LED for illuminating the work area is supportive.You have full tool control via the forward and reverse buttons, which you can use to control the crimping process at any time. A new feature is the option to switch the tool from manual to automatic return. After reaching the maximum crimping force, the piston automatically returns to the starting position. But you can stop the piston at the desired position by tapping the forward button - you always have full tool control.
In addition, thanks to improved technology, this tool is even faster, especially under load. The 18 V lithium-ion battery with 5 Ah from Makita included in the set fits seamlessly into your existing tool park.
