The hydraulic crimping tool PressMax-C14 is a versatile battery operated tool for the energy industry, power supply companies, municipal utilities and their service providers as well as industrial cable assembly and wind energy due to its wide range of applications, its very good power-to-weight ratio and its balanced ergonomics. With commercially available C-shaped crimping dies, it can be used for processing cable lugs and connectors up to 400 mm 2 according to DIN, wide crimping operations in particular significantly facilitate the working process.

Battery-powered hydraulic crimping tool PressMax-C14 - versatile, compatible, powerful - with 18 V Makita battery

With 140 kN, the hydraulic crimping tool PressMax-C14 is a very powerful, compact and versatile crimping tool. Thanks to its improved, balanced and ergonomic housing, it can also be easily handled with one hand. The crimping tool is equipped with standard C-shaped crimping dies (C shaped). The patented safety lock and the crimping die safety pins offer double safety. Damage caused by incorrectly inserted dies or an insufficiently closed crimping head is now a thing of the past. Thanks to the compact design and the 180° rotatable crimping head, the tool can be easily positioned on the workpiece. The head is narrowly designed for this performance class and can therefore also be used in confined spaces. The LED for illumination of the working area supports this.
You have full tool control via the feed and return buttons, which you can use at any time to control the crimping process. New is the possibility to change the tool from manual to automatic return. When the maximum force is reached, the piston automatically returns to its starting position. However, you can stop the piston at the desired position by tapping the feed button - you always have full control over your tool.
With 22 mm stroke and the corresponding force in optimally matched 2-step hydraulics, the battery-operated crimping tool can also be used to crimp cross-sections DIN hexagon Cu/Al up to 400 mm2. The possibility of wide crimping saves valuable working time, fewer crimping cycles are necessary. In addition, this tool is even faster under load thanks to improved technology. The 18 V lithium-ion battery with 5 Ah from Makita included in the set fits seamlessly into your existing tool park.
