Applications

The air-powered needle scaler DN 23/3 (JT-20) is designed for the derusting and cleaning of small surfaces of flying rust, paint, mussel coating, slag and much more. The Compressed Air Needle Scaler is therefore used in shipping, shipyards, for small-scale corrosion protection work, e.g. on masts or containers, or in mechanical engineering.

Air-powered Needle Scaler DN23/3 (JT-20) - small, but fine for rust removal from small surfaces

The needle scaler DN 23/3 (JT-20) our narrowest needle scaler in rod form, which is optimally designed for vertically guided and/or small-surface cleaning work. The low weight of 2.4 kg and the narrow design support working in confined spaces. The needle scaler is equipped with 12 standard needles (Ø 3 x 180 mm) which reliably remove paint, deposits and flash rust from metal surfaces. 12 replacement needles are also included in the scope of delivery. Special stainless steel needles are available as accessories for processing stainless steel. We can also supply spark-free Cu-Beryllium needles. The needle change is quick and easy. All you have to do is pull the retaining ring off the cover and you can remove the needle carrier and needles from the tool and replace the worn needles. For the use or conversion to 2 mm needles, you need the appropriate needle carrier, but this also allows you a very precise adaptation to the working environment and thus make the needle deruster variably usable. The needles adapt perfectly to any surface and can therefore also work on uneven surfaces such as checker plates, deep joints or corners and angles. Our compressed air needle scraper has a long service life, is low-maintenance and runs reliably for a long time thanks to its high quality, also of the needles - a good partner for rust removal work.
